A profound journey into the making of your being through community gathering with the plant medicine of Cacao.

October 6th – 10am-8pm (yes, it’s a long day, because we will enter the sweat-lodge at the end of the day to close the ceremony.)

This is a very special Cacao Ceremony, a first of it’s kind for us here at Holy Wow. In this gathering, we are so grateful to say that we will be on the beautiful land of the Seminole People in North Florida. We will not only journey together, but some members of the tribe will bless us with their beautiful songs and at the end of the day, hold a traditional sweat lodge (called an Inipi) to continue cleansing and close the ceremony. This is a great opportunity to do deep work in community with the original stewards of the land. You don’t want to miss this.
What is Cacao you may ask? Cacao is not* a psychedelic, but it is* an entheogen, and thus has be known as the “Food of the Gods” by the Mayan people for millennia. Cacao helps us to connect with our higher selves through an ever-more open heart and mind. The community becomes the shaman and we learn from new insights of one another and the reflections of aspects of ourselves that are ready to be seen. With this, our “higher-self” leads the way, creating a space where new awareness can be gained and healing can occur.
This is a powerful ceremony of life and death, where we can feel and experience the joy and happiness, sadness, pain and grief, anger and confusion, and anything in between. We may connect with our guides from other realms, or perhaps just experience a simple, present, clear and spacious mind.

– Drinking a cup of 100% pure, ceremonial-grade cacao, education/history around this heart-medicine of a plant, and diving into a meditation with her spirit
– Yoga/Movement/Breathwork for awakening the 10 bodies and your most primal nature
– Empathic Communication work, together in community, to authentically relate and uncover aspects of ourselves, best seen with a clear mirror
– Transformational Breathwork and Shamanic Drum Journey to bring messages of the subconscious mind to the surface of awareness
– Sound Healing Journey and Yoga Nidra meditation
– Medicine Music and community song-share by Seminole Tribes people and our collective ceremony holders.
– Sharing circles throughout the time and space, to grow and coalesce in the sacred container of this Ceremony.
– Inipi Sweat Lodge held by Seminole Tribes people.
Your Guide:
We will be guided by a long-time practitioner and space-holder to work with the Spirit of Cacao in a beautiful way. The creative visionary and journeyman of the Holy Wow Cacao project, Mat Chandler, has worked with cacao for 9+ years and moved to Guatemala 5 years ago to work with Cacao directly at the source. He has also studied with and brings the medicine vibes of tribes in the Amazon of Brazil, Peru, and Colombia. The cacao we will work with is Cacao he will be bringing that’s been formed within their Mayan Cacao Collective, called Las Manos de la Tierra (which means The Hands of the Earth).
🌟 To prepare, please bring:
· Your favorite mug
· Pen & notebook
· A container with water
· Small amount of fresh organic* fruit to share at the end of the ceremony
Eat only lightly* 2-3 hours before the ceremony begins and please avoid drinking caffeine on the day of the ceremony.
The week prior to ceremony it is best to be free of alcohol, cannabis and other things that could be considered an intoxicant.
Please be aware that we open and close this container together – arriving late or leaving early is not accepted as a part of creating the trust in this container that is needed for such a deep dive.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled in to the space.
